Bexley Golf Club is an 18-hole par 64 golf course located in Sydney’s inner western suburbs. Originally a dairy farm, the gently rolling hills and green parkland are the ideal site for a golf course.
Relatively short at 4097 metres, there is a premium on accuracy and restraint off the tee rather than length at Bexley. A few of the par fours are reachable, but the tight, tree-line fairways will make you second-guess taking a driver. In addition, the tricky greens are guarded by well placed bunkers.
There are a couple of dams on the course, and these add to the challenge on some of the holes.
A few of the highlights at Bexley Golf Club include:
- The 5th: The hole is an uphill par 3 which demands a very accurately placed tee shot.
- The 10th: A challenging opener to the back nine, requiring an accurate long-iron shot down hill to a tough green.
The friendly atmosphere at the club is second to none. Such is the attraction of the place, members come from all corners of Sydney to be part of the Bexley golfing family.
Bexley welcomes anyone who has ever thought about playing golf more regularly to come and join. The club has flexible payment options for all categories.
For those wishing to enjoy the challenge, Bexley Golf Club encourages online social group bookings or register as a public member.
