The course is a challenging 6085 metre 72 with lush fairways lined by a variety of trees.
The course offers fabulous views of the pretty seaside town as well as the beautiful Horseshoe Bay and nearby brooding Gulaga Mountain (Mount Dromedary).
While not heavily bunkered, Bermagui Country Club has enough well-placed sand traps ready to snare a poor approach.
Water features prominently, including the 164 metre 15th where the fairway is a lake. Other holes of note include:
- The 7th: A mid to long par four which requires a second shot to an elevated green. beware of the trek to the right.
- The 14: A down-then-up short par four with a creek meandering through the middle which forces you to make a lay up or bomb it decision form the tee.
For those keen to get their game in order before the round, practice facilities are available, and the Pro Shop is well stocked.
After your round, step in and enjoy the club’s facilities . There’s Happy Hour every day, excellent dining at The Terrace, and a host of other social, recreational and sporting activities.
Golf at Bermagui Country Club is a stunning experience and visitors are welcome seven days a week.
