Wild Times at the Coronation Medal

Lakeside Golf Club have run away with the Coronation Medal for 2019. The team of Tracey Wood, Donna Forrest, Lyn Hall and Jan Jacka had a combined score of 303, two shots ahead of runners up Concord Golf Club. Wood and Forrest had a 81 and 82 nett at their home club, whilst their team mates, Hall and Jacka had 69 and 71 nett.

Individual Results at Randwick Golf Club

Castle Hill’s Kelly Quigley took out the nett event with an impressive score of 62, two ahead of Lorna O’Brien. Scratch winner was Margaret Mitchell of Concord with 74 off the stick.

Individual Results at Lakeside Golf Club – Camden

Karen Myles of Everglades had a nett score of 77 to win the nett by one shot ahead of four players in 2nd place on 78, Miyoung Jang, Rebecca Wright, Lorraine Taylor, and Deborah Nunn. Deborah Nunn was lucky enough to win the scratch event with an 82 off the stick.

Over two hundred ladies have teed it up in the cold windy conditions at Randwick Golf Club and Lakeside Golf Club – Camden for the Women’s Coronation Medal.

The Coronation Medal is contested over two courses, which are determined by the previous year’s competition. The Medal is awarded to the team with the best-combined aggregate of four nett scores.
